I did start this blog earlier in the new year as part diary,part vent,part random scribbles....y'know,the sort of absent minded thoughts you have stuck on a bus for an hour ,brilliant ideas you might have for a song or a story then forget it as soon as you reach your stop....
Christmas is coming and the bankers are getting fat while the rest of us dont which is good really i could have done with losing a few pounds...
i have recently been ill and as a result eneded up on half pay meaning xmas is a little trimmer this year (i dont need any socks anyway) ...
The little girl has her main pressie, a puppy!
disclaimer: a puppy is not just for christmas, with luck you should have some left over for butties on boxing day.
We wasnt going to do xmas this year to be honest,last year we had our faithful labrador,dexter, put to sleep the night before xmas eve...we didnt think we'd be having the patter of tiny feet so soon! the little sod knows where he should be doing his oblutions ,he just doesnt do it all the time...cant wait for spring when he'll be out all the time....he's a pug/griffon hybrid/cross/mongrel/mutt and despite being a pain in the wotsits, is cute....
The turkey crown is in the freezer! (iceland,£6 cook from frozen!) the booze is in the fridge including the double chocolate stout that will be helping me digest the 7kilos of mash and sprouts and when i wake the dishwasher will hopefully be loaded up (we used to let the mother-in-law do the washing up til we got the dishwasher us decadent northerners we!
crap christmas telly abounds! "hawk the slayer " was on today with early 80's techno pop soundtrack and such luminaries of british thespianship as roy kinnear and bernard bresslaw!!!
morcambe and wise is on at the moment which is as christmassy as it gets...until tomorrow when Dr Who returns!!!
But what does the future hold? asides from some major changes at work there is much to look forward to the new snow white fim looks good and then theres the school hols which i get off so loads of daddy/daughter (and pup) time

the leaked photo's online were a tempting morsel on the fishing line of hype but empire magazine had some exclusive official pictures and it looks amazing! a far cry from the stallone fiasco of the 90's ...
some sad family news is expected this year as well but there are mixed feelings due to how some people are treating others ...
I dont know how often i'll be posting or what it will be about next time...if you tune in (at all!!) expecting some well thought out organised professional effort ...sod off .
